Manchester City had their run of 12 straight league wins in a row terminated on Saturday as they were held to a draw by Southampton at Saint Mary’s.
The ending of the match saw a heated argument between Jack Grealish and saints’ Oriol Romeu, after the Southampton midfielder accused the England international of diving.

Referee Simon Hooper calmed the situation down, and Southampton head coach Ralph Hasenhuttl revealed that Grealish waited for Romeu in the tunnel after the final whistle.
“Grealish was waiting for him in the tunnel because of a few things that happened outsoide on the pitch,” Hasenhuttl told Sky Sports.
“But it’s not here for the cameras, they spoke about it, everything’s good.”
Manchester City still sit comfortably at the top of the Premier League tabled, despite the draw to Southampton. Twelve points above second placed Liverpool, who also have two games in hand.
