Napoli announce their star striker Victor Osimhen was forced off the pitch during today’s training session due to a thigh injury.
Napoli are just one point behind table toppers Milan.
Osimhen is now in doubt for the upcoming match against Fiorentina at the Stadio Maradona. Football Italia reported.
“Victor Osimhen left the session early after feeling a niggle in his left thigh,” Napoli said in an official statement.
“Adam Ounas, Andrea Petagna, and Giovanni Di Lorenzo followed custom schedules on the pitch, Alex Meret was fully involved with the squad.”
Osimhem managed to score 15 goals in 25 appearances across all competitions this season after been on the sideline for two months due to injury.
