Leonardo Bonucci an apology to Juventus supporters after last night’s 3-0 loss against Villarreal.
The defender was not available for selection on Wednesday night as a result of injury. This morning, he took to social media to offer his view on last night’s defeat.
“Living these kinds of games from the outside made me understand what our fans think on nights like these,” he wrote on Instagram.
“Apologies is the only thing to do now. We must transform this disappointment and frustration into anger to face the rest of the games and get the targets left.”
Bonucci is unlikely to recover from injury for the next Serie A match against Salernitana on Sunday and might miss Italy’s World Cup play-offs semi-finals against North Macedonia next week.
