The British government’s decision to sanction Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich owing to his link with Russian Government has thrown the West London club a state of chaos, with many stars in the club willing to play their trade in other clubs.

Calciomercato reported that, Lukaku is ready to return to Inter, stating that the Chelsea move was a big mistake.

The Striker is ready to take a pay cut to speed up his move to the Nerazzurri as he has contacted many of his team members on his possible return to Italy.

Football Italia reported at “It would be a complex deal but Lukaku is ready to do whatever it takes to get things across the line. Chelsea paid €115m for Lukaku last summer and so the only ways he could return to Lombardy are either a dry loan deal or a two-year loan with an obligation to buy clause attached.”

“Should the latter take shape, Inter would have to accept the idea of paying a significant sum for a then-31-year-old Lukaku in the summer of 2024.”
