Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has urged Romelu Lukaku to put his struggles behind, after the Belgian scored a goal that made the Blues World Club Champions for the first time on Saturday.

Chelsea signed Lukaku for a record fee of £97.5 million pound from Inter Milan last summer but the striker in an unauthorised interview claimed he is unhappy with certain aspects at Stamford Bridge.

Lukaku seems to be moving on and scored Chelsea’s first goal in their 2-1 win against Brazilian side Palmeiras in the Club World Cup final.

Marca reported that the Chelsea legend also called for Covid-19 vaccinations to be readily available worldwide and not just the more developed nations – “It’s important that we all work together, we all act together.”
