Former Brazil superstar Robinho has been sentenced to nine years in prison for the role he played in a violent sexual assault in a Milan nightclub in 2013.
Marca reported that Robinho, who was an AC Milan player at the time, was part of a group who gang-raped a 23-year-old Albanian woman at the Sio Cafe nightclub and was originally sentenced in 2017, having gone on to lose two appeals.
The former Manchester City forward has exhausted his chances to appeal, indicating that the ruling by the court in Rome is final.
However, it is not yet clear if he will serve his jail sentence in a Brazilian or Italian jail.
