Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger, is likely to be a free agent at the end of the season when his contract expires at summer, as negotiations between the two parties has produced no result.
Real Madrid are in pole position in signing him on a free transfer in July, but recent reports in Spain suggest the two parties had made no headway on negotiations.
And according to Foot Mercato, PSG are now eager to beat Madrid to to sign the German this summer.
The French club have offered Rudiger £6million per annum to join the Ligue one side, with sporting director Leonardo doing everything in his power to win Los Blancos to the signing.
While the defender prefers to go Real Madrid, Rudiger may be forced to consider the Parc des Princes.
Chelsea are still hoping to tie him down with a new contract extension before summer, with Thomas Tuchel keen on keeping hold of his star centre-back.
Rudiger has been a key member of Tuchel’s defence since the coach arrived at Stamford Bridge in January 2021, helping the Blues win the Champions League last season.
