Liverpool and Chelsea could have their Champions League matches for round of 16 against Lille and Milan moved to a neutral ground as UEFA will not endorse the compulsory vaccine laws recently introduced by Italy and France governments.

The new regulations will take effect this January, all sportspeople at all levels in Italy and France must present a Covid-19 passport to enter venues. The law is likely to have effects on players availability considering the lower vaccination rates among Premier League players.

UEFA see no reason to rewrite their rules to make vaccination compulsory for players, as the availability and uptake of vaccines varries among players and countries.
The European football governing board rules state that clubs with 13 players will be expected to fulfill schedules, but if government impose vaccination laws,  such will lead to the squad been depleted games and the fixtures can be moved to another ground.
