After having all his assets frozen by the UK government, Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich has been put in a tight corner and he is said to have reached out to wealthy friends to help him secure an emergency loan.
Abramovich is currently negotiating for the sell of Chelsea, although it’s unclear just how this process can go through without the government taking control of the London club
According to a report published by the Sun, Abramovich is seeking a sum of around one million pounds in order to stay afloat as the strength of sanctions begins to weigh on him.
