West Ham United’s attempts to bring both Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips to the club have failed, as Leeds United have turned down their offers.
David Moyes is keen to strengthen his squad strength, as the club continue their Europa League campaign and fighting to join the four teams from England for Champions League next season.

The Guardian have reported that West Ham were keen on bringing Philips to the club and will make a 50 million pound offer, which would have reunited the 26-year-old with England teammate Declan Rice in midfield. Leeds rejected the offer.
West Ham also tried to lure Raphinha to the club, but had the bid turned down as coach Marcelo Bielsa maintained that he won’t be sold this January.
Moyes believes in the Brazilian and has seen him as a versatile option to support the Hammers‘ attack, with Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen having impressed under the Scot.
