Paul Pogba has reportedly told his club Manchester United that he hopes to stay till the end of the season and then join Real Madrid.
Pogba’s existing contract will end in summer of 2022, six years after he signed from Juventus.
The Daily Star claimed that the Red Devils are ready to allow Pogba to leave on a free transfer this summer.
Manchester United Coach Ralf Rangnick expects to see Pogba play while he remains at the club.
The Superstar is currently sidelined with a thigh injury for more than ten weeks, but the boss expects to have him back in action shortly.
“My contract as a manager is also expiring in the summer,” the German said.
“For us, we have the same goal. We have the same ambition, to be as successful as we can possibly be in the next three or four months.”
Real Madrid have long declared interest in Pogba and are ready to cash in on the midfielder.
