Manchester United interim manager held talks with out of favour Manchester United pair Dean Henderson and Donny van de Beek where he told them that he would prefer them to stay at Manchester United until the end of the season rather than going out on loan this month.
David de Gea sudden return to form sidelined Henderson who has had just two appearances this season.

Rangnick said: ‘I told him I would like him to stay because he is a fantastic goalkeeper. In training yesterday, he had a couple of fantastic saves.

‘I can fully understand he wants to play. I would really like to have him on board as one of three top goalkeepers.

‘He’s at an age where you should regularly play, but we are in three competitions. I can understand his desire to get regular game-time and be a No.1 elsewhere in the Premier League.’
