Romelu Lukaku will not be in Chelsea’s squad against Liverpool.
This is coming after an interview recorded several weeks ago but relayed on Thursday, where the Belgian said he was “not happy” with his role under Thomas Tuchel earlier this season.
He also said he would like to return to Italy, where he left for Chelsea in August.
Tuchel later replied that the comments brought noise to the club.
Lukaku scored seven goals in eighteen appearances since he joined the blues this summer.
He also suffered injuries and illnesses that sidelined home for weeks.
However, he had a recent upturn in form, scoring in the last two Premier League matches.
