The Super Eagles won the African Cup of Nations eight years ago, and the time is right for yet another continental trophy.
Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye believes the Super Eagles have all what it takes to bring the trophy home.
This year’s edition of African Nations Cup kicks off on the 6th of January in Cameroon, despite intense pressure from participants for it to be cancelled or postponed due to rising cases of Covid-19.
Nigeria maybe be considered not prepared for the tournament as they just sacked the head coach Gernot Rohr less than a month to the tournament.

Although the Nigerian Football Federation through it’s president Amaju Pinnick assured Nigerians that they had reached an advanced stage in their search for a new technical adviser, and could appoint one next week.
But the Watford goalkeeper believes Nigeria has all it takes to emerge champions in the competition despite the drama being played in the administrative office.
“We going to the African Cup of Nations to win the tournament,” Okoye declared.”Nigeria is a great football country, and we have a good team. Let me return to Rotterdam with a prize”.
