Arsenal will face eight time winners Liverpool while Chelsea will meet Tottenham.
Antonio Conte will face his former club as Tottenham Hotspur fight to reach the final for the second consecutive time.
In his interview with Sky Sports, Conte expressed his feelings for Tottenham to reach the semi-final.
“First of all it’s good for Tottenham to reach a semi-final in this competition.”You can see the names of the teams in the semi-final- Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea with us. It means that every club wants to try and lift this trophy.”
“I remember in the past when we I was at chelsea, this trophy was not secondary. But it was used to play with young players and players that did not start in the first IX.’
“Now I’m seeing in England that to win a trophy is very difficult and we have important terms.”Liverpool produced a wonderful display to reach the semi-finals as they beat Leicester City on penalties.
Arsenal last won the trophy in 2013 and have suffered three final defeats.
The two-legged semi-finals will be played between January 3 and 10, with the final at Wembley Stadium on February 27.
