Reality TV Star Todd Chrisley Looks Unrecognizable in First Post-Prison Video – Savannah Says He’s “Jacked”
Fans of Chrisley Knows Best were in for a surprise this week when Savannah Chrisley shared the very first glimpse of her father, Todd Chrisley, following his release from prison. And let’s just say Todd’s new look has everyone talking.
In a video posted to Savannah’s Instagram Stories, Todd, 56, appeared relaxed and in good spirits as he rode in the passenger seat beside his daughter. But what really caught fans’ attention was his new, noticeably muscular physique. At one point in the video, Savannah turns to her father and exclaims, “He’s jacked, y’all!” as Todd jokingly encourages her to “feel that muscle.”
It’s the first time the public has seen Todd Chrisley since he began serving a combined 12-year sentence for tax evasion and bank fraud. But on May 27, 2025, Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, received full presidential pardons from former President Donald Trump. The news sent shockwaves through social media, with many divided over the decision.
Freedom at Last: Family Reunion on the Road
Savannah was seen picking up her father from the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida, while her younger brother, Grayson, retrieved their mother, Julie, from a separate facility in Kentucky. The family’s reunion marks the beginning of a new chapter, one they are reportedly planning to document for fans.
According to PEOPLE, a new Lifetime docuseries is already in development, featuring the Chrisley family’s journey after prison. The show promises to offer a raw and real look into their lives, rebuilding trust, and reestablishing their brand after years of legal troubles.
A Surprising Transformation
What shocked many fans the most wasn’t just Todd’s release but his physical transformation. Gone is the softer, suited-up persona many knew from the reality show. In its place is a leaner, more muscular Todd Chrisley leading fans to speculate that his time behind bars was spent focusing on fitness and mental clarity.
“He looks 10 years younger,” one fan commented on a repost of Savannah’s video. “Prison clearly made him tougher physically and maybe emotionally too,” wrote another.
The Chrisley brand may have taken a hit during their incarceration, but it appears they are not stepping away from the spotlight. The upcoming docuseries is expected to cover their post-prison lives, the controversy surrounding their release, and their plans for the future. Savannah, who has maintained a strong media presence throughout the ordeal, hinted that fans should brace for a new, more transparent version of the family.
With the video of Todd’s dramatic reappearance already making rounds online, it’s clear the Chrisleys are back—and they’re making headlines once again.
