Serious battle on and off the pitch as Manchester United lost to Brighton in their first Premier League game of the season as fans clashed in the stands.

Earlier before the game started, some fans described as the Anti-Glazers group, demonstrated for the immediate sell of the club as they are not comfortable with the current owners.

There were high hopes among United fans as they had much confidence on the new manager Erik ten Hag, but their club was beaten by the Seagulls at Old Trafford with a 2-1 victory.

Pascal Gross two goals in the first half gave Brighton the lead, while an Alexis Mac Allister own goal after the break reduce the numbers.

Dailymail reported that the result led to increased tensions in the stands and a fight appeared to break out in one area of the crowd at Old Trafford.

An image emerged showing a man having his hand around the throat of another spectator.
