The future of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, remains uncertain with several of his team-mates reportedly furious at his pay rise should he decide to remain at Old Trafford.

Pogba has just months left on his current contract which expires this summer.

According to the Mirror, the 29-year-old has been offered a new deal worth £500,000-per-week to remain at United – which would make him the Premier League‘s highest-paid player. The deal starts off with a basic salary of £400,000 with the add-ons taking up half-a-million pounds.
Tclaim that those terms have left members of the Red Devils squad furious – with plenty feeling he is not worthy due to his performances on-the-pitch and non-committal stance over committing his future.

The report claimed that the figures have left members of United squad angry with plenty feeling he is not worthy due to his performances on-the-pitch and non-committal stance over committing his future.

‘Some of the players think it’s out of order he could be getting twice as much as they’re when he hardly starts a game and talks about leaving all the time,’ a source told the Mirror.

Pogba will surpass Cristiano Ronaldo (£450,000-per-week), David de Gea (£375,000-per-week), Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane (both £300,000-per-week) in the club’s wage’s structure, if he accepts the terms. He currently earns £290,000-per-week.

Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are both declared interest in the Frenchman. but whether they can offer the wages he wants will be decisive, while remaining at United has yet to be ruled out.
