The head of Borussia Dortmund‘s players department Sebastian Kehl, has described Erling Haaland‘s recent comments, as one that has taken the club aback.
The striker this week revealed that the club had been putting pressure on him to make a decision about his future.
“There’s nothing new, no talks,” Kehl said.
“I was surprised by Erling‘s words.
“I’ll talk to him and ask why he gave an interview like that after a 5-1 win.
“We haven’t put any pressure on him.”
The Norwagian and Borrusia Dortmund have an agreement that could see the player leave at the end of the season, with 75 million release clause.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are interested in the superstar.
Kehl also acknowledged that the club would need to have an answer from the forward so that they can plan for next season.
“At some point we have to know what players we’ll have for next season,” Kehl added.
“But, there’s no ultimatum.
“We’re not financially dependent on what we’ll get for Haaland. We want him to continue, but we have to win trophies for that.”
