Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left London not quite long ago to join Barcelona after falling out of favour with Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta.

Chelsea’s Entourage are in Barcelona and are said to have met with Aubameyang some hours ago. With football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reporting that they have almost reach personal agreement with the Gabonese.

The only issue in the transfer process is the fact that Barcelona are demanding £30m while Chelsea can only offer £15m for the ex-Arsenal captain.

A sale would benefit Barcelona though and allow them some breathing room with their salary limit – negotiations between the clubs are set to begin imminently.

While it seems unlikely that Chelsea would reach €30m for the 33-year-old, a deal seems a logical conclusion. It is worth remembering that Barcelona are still yet to register Jules Kounde and supposedly still interested in recruiting Marcos Alonso
