Claudio Ranieri has been been relieved of his duties at Watford after just three months in charge, as the club struggles to avoid relegation in Premier League.

Ranieri has tried to change things at the club since being appointed in October, with Watford dropping points and sliding into the Premier League relegation zone for the first time this season after Friday’s 3-0 home defeat to Norwich.

When asked about his future at the club, Ranieri said: “I don’t go away. I want to continue because I am a fighter. I’ve never given up in my career.”

Under Ranieri, Watford have lost seven of their eight league matches.
