His family released a statement confirming the news, after a false report of the agent’s demise on Thursday.
“In infinite sorrow we share the passing of the most caring and amazing Football Agent that ever was,” the statement read.
“Mino fought until the end with the same strength he put on negotiation tables tom defend our players, as usual, Mino made us proud and never realised it.
“Mino touched so many lives through his work and wrote a new chapter in the history of modern football, Mino’s mission of making football a better player for players will continue with the same passion.”
Raiola was a popular agents in football, he started practicing since the 1980s. Among his clients are names such as Dennis Bergkamp, Robinho, Mario Balotelli, Matthijs De Ligt, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Moise Kean.
He was born in Italy but grew up in the Netherlands, where he played in the youth team of HFC Haarlem.
